Finding Your Own Path While Avoiding Orange Jumpsuits

When I graduated from college my father was pretty unhappy that I wasn’t planning on grad school.  I knew with a graduate degree in art about all I could do was teach and if I did that the body count would be insane.  

So instead of finding out if orange was my new black I opted for practical experience.  I spent quite a long time working in jewelry stores as the jeweler/appraiser.  That path took a long time, but I’m so glad I did, it gave me the opportunity to learn and grow in my craft, a process that continues everyday.  Now I’m creating small pieces of art you can wear everyday.
