Aahh June.  My favorite month.   Is it my favorite month because it’s my birthday month?  Maybe.   Is it because the birthstones for this month are pretty darn cool?  Probably.   In case you’re not aware, the birthstones for June are alexandrite, pearl and moonstone.  Alexandrite is an impressive color change gem that is pretty rare.  Pearls are gorgeous and varied.  Moonstones are ethereal and mesmerizing. Have you ever looked at a plant in bloom and had that moment of excitement wondering exactly what the flower inside would look like?  Even if you know what the plant is, there is still a question of the exact coloring or shapes that are about to unfold. I’m not a master gardener.  I’m not particularly adept at taking care of plants, but I do enjoy the imagination of Mother Nature. I find a lot of inspiration in the motifs and architecture of Art Deco.  I also find inspiration in the lines of Mid-Century Modern.  The clean, simple lines really speak to me.  Take these earrings and the matching necklace from my Deco Luxe Collection.
