Small businesses need you!

As so many people have pointed out, this year has been an absolute shit-show.  I find it amusing that everyone was so excited January 1st about the start of a new decade.  Now everyone can't wait for this year to end.  At this point at least we've made it to November 3rd (insert obligatory remarks on voting here).  Hopefully today passes without anything too crazy happening.  Of course, now I've just jinxed everyone.

Just try to remember that while all of this has been going on small businesses have been suffering.  Now we are coming into the holiday season that is so critical to the survival of so many small businesses.  Please remember to think of them this season and support them.  Walmart won't care if you spend your money with them this year, but the local gift or book shop will definitely care.
