What does your life look like when you feel like you can truly soar? Are you on your own? Surrounded in a busy workspace? Blasting music into the late night hours? The best thing about June is the pearls!
Since it is getting close to the end of June I thought I'd sneak yet another pearl piece in before the end of the month! Being a June baby myself, I may totally be biased, but I love the range and versatility of these gems. I love the soft pink color of the pearls in these earrings and the movement of the design. Appreciating the things around me
Anyone feeling the weight of the world today? Something about what we’ve all been going through has really made me take a look around me. I’ve learned to appreciate what I do have, how I talk with my children about the world right now, the happiness I enjoy while working at my bench, and the importance of the pleasure and peace my surroundings bring to me. Want to know how I create my designs?
Well, to be honest I have two different ways. The first... Sometimes I just feel the need to sit and sketch. Occasionally some of these sketches really stick in my head. Those sketches get played with and explored a little more. If I'm happy with what I see those will become new work. Other times I look at a stone & I can just see the piece around it. Fun fact: I’m generally easy-going, but I couldn’t live without my I-pod. I know it may sound crazy, but I have to have my music! All. The. Time. Without it, I get a little stir crazy!
